Notification, Alert & Best Practices

Create a Notification Object:

Objects Setting → Notification Object

Select only the events you really need. For testing, you may enable all options.

Create an Alert Object and link it to the Notification Object.

Result

When an event occurs, the router sends an HTTPS request to Telegram, and the alert appears instantly.

Production Recommendations

• Avoid enabling full notifications in production
• Use alerts only for critical events (WAN down, VPN disconnect, reboot)
• Configure Sending Interval carefully to avoid Telegram rate limits
• Revoke and recreate the bot if the token is ever exposed
